<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce troublesome camera operation as much as possible in a Live View mode in which focus confirmation in a dark part is a main target, and make a photographer airily perform photographing. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaging device with the Live View mode which is realized by gradually carrying out enlarged display of a signal in a partial region of a imaging element 14, at first it detects a high luminance photographing object position from the imaging signal of the whole imaging element 14, then makes the position detected here as an initial setting position of partial cutting out in the Live View mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
