<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium provided with a plurality of information layers laminated via at least a transparent intermediate layer and having excellent repetitive overwriting characteristics even when information layers other than the information layer the furthest from a light incident plane of a laser beam among the plurality of information layers include recording films formed by using an Sb eutectic-based phase transition material. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium is provided with the plurality of information layers laminated on a supporting substrate via at least the transparent intermediate layer.
