PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure file data writing and ensure consistency even if an operating system goes down or a system function is lost. SOLUTION: An application 1 ensures a file input/output data buffer 1A in an area accessible to firmware 3 to write data and notifies the location of the data buffer to the firmware (S4), and issues a file input/output request via an operating system (S5). At the input/output processing request, a firmware request processing part 3A accesses the data buffer in the notified location to acquire the data and writes the data as a file on a disk 5 (S6). An autonomous processing part 3B monitors for an operating system failure (S7), and if detecting a failure, according to the status of file data writing by the firmware request processing part, maintains file input/output consistency (S8).
