PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control system of a portable electronic communication apparatus, which prevents an electromagnetic wave from the portable electronic communication apparatus from being emitted in accordance with environment. SOLUTION: In a power control method of the portable electronic communication apparatus in the power control system of the portable electronic communication apparatus, which has the portable electronic communication apparatus performing communication by radio, a gate outputting a signal for instructing ON and OFF of power of the portable electronic communication apparatus and an IC tag arranged in the portable electronic communication apparatus, the IC tag stores power information showing a state of power ON or OFF of portable electronic communication before passage of the gate, sets power to OFF when power is ON in passing the gate, sets power to ON when power information is ON by referring to power information in passing the gate next and maintains power to be OFF as it is when power information is OFF.
