PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectral device for quickly analyzing composition of a measured object, wherein the device is miniaturized and properly carriable. SOLUTION: The spectral device is provided with a light source 2 for emitting a light, a diffraction grating 3 for reflecting the light emitted from the light source 2 and separating it into monochromatic lights, a scanning means 4 for turning the diffraction grating 3 and irradiating the object T to be measured with a light within a predetermined wavelength range chosen from among the separated monochromatic lights, and a light-receiving means 8 for receiving a reflection light or a transmitted light from the object T where the reflected light or the transmitted light received is measured 8.
