PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely foldable shelf capable of eliminating the need for fasteners such as screws at the time of assembling it further making itself compact at the time of transporting. SOLUTION: The freely foldable shelf keeps opposed shelf boards supported by turnable rods and fastener members inserted between the shelf boards such that the opposed shelf boards can be secured spaced apart from each other.
