PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution which enables automatic cornering while travel handles are gripped during the cornering of a self-propelled compact snow removal machine. SOLUTION: The walking self-propelled type snow removal machine has a handle-operation panel part at the rear of a travelling body which is provided with a snow-removal part at the front. Then a longitudinal axis is provided at the rear of the travelling body, and the handle-operation panel part is constituted so that it can turn. Then a turning angle, which is generated by turning the handle-operation panel part toward the requested travelling direction, is detected, and the travelling body is turned under automatic control. Then a worker can concentrate on the operation of snow removal work, and continuously operate the snow removal machine without taking hands off the handles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
