PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which enables a steel girder and a steel beam to be easily joined together without the need for much labor in such a manner as to be advantageous in terms of cost. SOLUTION: Plate parts 5 and 6 of a metal gusset 3, which is equipped with the plate part 5 along a web 1c of the girder 1 and the plate part 6 along a web 2c of the beam 2c, are attached to the web 1c of the girder 1 and the web 2c of the beam 2 by means of a bolt 11, respectively, so that the girder 1 and the beam 2 can be joined together. The metal gusset 3 is provided with a retainer plate part 7 along the undersurface side of the lower flange 2b of the beam 2; an end 4a of a horizontal brace 4 for a floor is provided on the undersurface side of the retainer plate part 7; the retainer plate part 7 of the gusset 3 and the lower flange 2b of the beam 2 are joined together by means of the bolt 11; and the retainer plate part 7 of the gusset 3 and the end 4a of the horizontal brace 4 are also joined together by means of the bolt 11.
