PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-solid or solid state hair cosmetic, excellent in unstickiness in use, quickness in concordance with the hair, and proper set ability and reset performance, having externals excellent in transparency, and excellent in high temperature stability. SOLUTION: The cosmetic is semisolid or solid and comprises (A): a specific polyamide modified silicone, (B): a multivalent alcohol ester of trimethylsiloxysilicic acid and/or rosin acid and (C): an ester oil other than (B) which ester oil is liquid at room temperature.
