PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, capable of securely feeding recording paper on a manual paper feed tray to a recording paper carrying passage. SOLUTION: This image forming device 10 comprises the manual paper feed tray 50, and a pickup roller 52 with a pad member 54 to hold recording paper on the manual paper feed tray 50 to be fed to the recording paper. The pad member 54 is provided with a guide film 48, protruded from one end surface 54 hanging from a counter surface 54B of the pad member 54 facing the pickup roller 54 toward the pickup roller 52 for introducing the recording paper to a pressure contact part between the pickup roller 52 and the pad member 54.
