PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy object moving device capable of moving and turning a heavy object in X- and Y-directions by a simple structure and a simple operation method. SOLUTION: In the heavy object moving device, at least six sets of supporting units are installed on a lower side of a frame or a heavy object to be moved, a main cylinder to vertically move the supporting units to a frame or the heavy object to be moved, a movable cylinder to horizontally move it, and a rotating mechanism of the movable cylinder to change the horizontally moving direction are provided on each supporting unit. The supporting units marked with a black circle supports the load, and the supporting units marked with a white circle supports no load. (a) moves the heavy object in X-direction with the movable cylinder 19 being directed in X-direction. Similarly, (b) moves the heavy object in Y-direction.
