The invention relates to a method and device for controlling pressure in a pneumatic supply system, wherein said method consists in producing a gas flow by means of a gas source, in transferring said gas flow to a reception point through a connecting line, in determining an actual pressure value by a measuring method and in evaluating said value by a pressure regulator during pressure regulation. Said pressure measuring method is carried out in the connecting line narrowing area at a spatial distance from the reception point.
