A method of assaying an anti-HCV agent capable of inhibiting the multiplication of hepatitis C virus (HCV); HCV replicon cells capable of repeating the multiplication of HCV; and cultured cells capable of producing HCV. The invention is characterized in that it is carried out in the presence of CyPB.
