<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for using services, an image handling apparatus, an external processing apparatus, and a program for using the services capable of easily carrying out development and customizing of software. <P>SOLUTION: In the system for using the services wherein the image handling apparatus 1 and the external processing apparatus 2 are connected via a prescribed network 3, the external processing apparatus 2 is provided with a control section 200 acting like a function of at least part of image handling processes required for the services on behalf of the image handling apparatus 1, and the image handling apparatus 1 includes a function 106 or the like controlled by the image handling processing and controls the function 106 or the like on the opportunity receiving a request from the control section 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
