<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormal state determining device preventing a cost increase resulting from acquiring a normal data group for each product prior to shipment and preventing degradation in determination accuracy resulting from employing, for each product, the normal data group obtained from a normal machine. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 1 acquires timing of the elapse of a predetermined period of time after a copying machine to be inspected after repair or shipment from a factory. Pieces of combination information, which are combinations of pieces of various information acquired from a copying machine by information acquiring means such as various sensors 2 before the arrival of the timing, are successively stored in an information storage means, such as a RAM 1a, in order to construct normal combination data groups.
