<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for vehicles that suppresses the occurrence of Null, has an omnidirectional radiation pattern in the range of 180° in the rear of a vehicle, has broadband frequency characteristics even if being mounted near a body, and can receive terrestrial digital television broadcasting (bandwidth: 473 to 701 MHz). <P>SOLUTION: A trapezoidal element antenna 1 comprises a trapezoidal element 3, a feeding point 2, and a parasitic element 4. The on-vehicle V-shaped trapezoidal element antenna 10 includes the trapezoidal element antenna 1, a GND board 5, and a support member 6. The trapezoidal element 3 is a conductive plate made of metal, or the like, and the feeding point 2 is connected to the trapezoidal element 3.
