<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power unit having a charger for a secondary battery which performs charging by suppressing the deterioration of the secondary battery due to charging at high temperature, and by controlling charging current according to surrounding environment. <P>SOLUTION: This uninterruptible power unit 300 is constituted of a controller 200, the secondary battery 1a, and the charger 100 for charging the secondary battery 1a. The charger 100 includes a first device for measuring a temperature of the secondary battery 1a, a second device for controlling operation and stop charging due to the temperature of the secondary battery 1a, a third device for controlling the charging current due to the temperature of the secondary battery 1a, and a fourth device for measuring a battery voltage. Thus, the uninterruptible power unit stops charging if the voltage reaches a full charge voltage, and restarts charging if the voltage is below a fixed voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
