<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce heat and seizure generated in a sliding section of a bush. <P>SOLUTION: A multiple-disk type frictional engagement device for transmitting power by engagement of multiple friction elements received in a housing, includes a hub provided on the inner periphery of the housing and the bush inserted between a shaft and the hub which slides along the shaft.
