<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, in which jammed paper can be easily removed even in a case where a drawing/inserting direction of a paper feed cassette is perpendicular to the paper feed direction. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feed cassette 18 in which paper to be fed toward an image forming device main body is stored in a stacked state is drawn/inserted to a paper feed device 100 provided at a lower part of the image forming device main body perpendicularly to the paper feed direction. An opening cover 110 is provided to open a paper feed passage forward in the paper feed direction in the paper feed device 100, and a handle 111 comprising a recess is provided in the opening cover 110.
