<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical worm reduction gear with an orthogonal motor in which the assembly and the rearrangement of reduction ratio can be easily made, and a series of combinations thereof. <P>SOLUTION: While a worm gear unit 10 whose worm shaft 11 is projected and a multistage helical gear unit 20 with a motor whose output shaft 27 is projected are coupled by inserting one sides of the shafts into the other sides, the cases 41, 40 of the units 10, 20 are made to be fitted with each other in flanges A, B. The change in reduction ratio can be made by replacing the gear units 10, 20 respectively and independently assembled. As a result, conventional reduction gear change requiring special technology can be executed by a general worker without any intervention of a skilled worker. In addition, oil draining and feeding work accompanying disassembly and remodeling work of a gear box is not required in the work for the change of the reduction ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
