PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of dispensing a prescribed amount from a sample or a reagent, capable of carrying out various treatments, and capable of conducting an examination by an examination device. SOLUTION: In this analytical device, a common electrode is provided on an upper substrate, and a driving electrode including a plurality of electrode trains is provided on a lower substrate. Oil is filled in a space between the two substrates to generate therein a liquid drop of the sample, the reagent or the like. A negative voltage is impressed to the common electrode or connected to the ground, and a positive voltage is impressed to the electrode on a driving electrode side. A contact angle is thereby reduced in an area impressed with the voltage, wettability is enhanced thereby, and the liquid drop moves thereby. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
