PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feedback canceller having an adaptive filter which does not attenuate a sound signal by musical sound by discriminating the tenuto of the musical sound with a fixed frequency from a feedback. SOLUTION: A waveform analyzer 7 determines whether the sound signal inputted from a microphone 1 is an input signal by the generation of the feedback or not and sets a filter coefficient, so as to show down the adaptive processing of the adaptive filter 6 around a detected frequency when the signal is not the input signal by the generation of the feedback.
