PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the breakage of an interlayer insulating layer existing between data signal wiring and scan signal wiring which is caused by the push of a spacer, or the rupture of an electrode and the data signal wiring of an electron source formed of a thin film. SOLUTION: This display device is equipped with the data signal wiring DL to supply a display signal to the thin film electron source ELS, and the scan signal wiring GL crossing the data signal wiring DL through the interlayer insulating layers INS1, INS2 to impress a scan signal on the thin film electron source on the inner surface of a cathode substrate SUB1. Cut parts taking the form of teeth of a comb and leaving projecting parts CM to horizontally hold the data signal wiring DL between them is formed in a region where the scan signal wiring GL crosses the data signal wiring DL, and a spacer SPC is installed along the scan signal wiring on the scan signal wiring so as to bridge the cut parts.
