PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which can detect the presence of a disk correctly. SOLUTION: The optical disk device 10 equipped with a main part having a disk inserting/removing port 11 and a conveyance roller 11 for conveying the disk between the disk inserting/removing port 11 and a disk storage position of the main part is equipped with; a rocking lever 25 of which the fixed end is rotatably supported in the main part with a support shaft 24 and a disk arrival switch is fixed; and a detection lever 27 of which the fixed end is rotatably supported by a support shaft and which activates the disk arrival switch by making the tip contact with the periphery of the disk stored in the disk storage position.
