PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic sequence diagram generator capable of receiving a source file defining flow (for example, message exchange) of application by a nonspecific language. SOLUTION: A system is provided with a character source file for the nonspecific language describing flow of the application and a general application diagram generator capable of receiving the source file as an input to generate a sequence diagram representing flow described by the source file. Desirably, the nonspecific language includes an extensible markup language, and the sequence drawing generator is applicable to general application since it can operate to generate a sequence drawing of a flow of optional application described by the character source file.
