PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image management system capable of extracting an image required for a user anytime and reusing the image on a host computer by freely selecting image storage in a hard disk in a copying machine and vectorized image storage in an image database server on a network. SOLUTION: A full state of an HDD in a BOX in an MFP is prevented, and in the case of regarding speed as important, a user is enabled to select the registration of raster data in the BOX and the data are vectorized and left in a server to store the data in a reusable state.
