PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device miniaturizable and capable of preventing the intrusion of a foreign matter into the device. SOLUTION: The upper end of a tubular part 13a of an upper case 13 is opened, and a segment operation body 15 is rotatably journaled thereto. The tubular part 13a has a pair of first walls 21 facing each other and a pair of second walls 22 continuously connected to the first walls 21 and facing each other. Nearly-central upper ends 21a of the first walls 21 are located above upper ends 22a of the second walls 22, and have holes 21b for rotatably journaling the segment operation part 15 formed therein. The body 15a of the operation body has projecting parts 15e extending to the second wall 22 side. Each projecting part 15e has a nearly circular arc-like shape with a rotation center X as a center.
