PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite foam having good thermal insulation properties over a long time by a simple method. SOLUTION: The composite foam obtained by laminating/applying an epoxy-based curing resin which is cured in a short time at room temperature (within 24 h at 0-40°C) on the surface of a foamed styrene-based resin formed by extruding/foaming a styrene-based resin composition with a foaming agent of a 3-5C saturated hydrocarbon and its production method are provided.
