PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound reverse osmosis membrane having a high desalination rate and a high water permeate flow and lowering less in the water permeate flow even when used in treating detergent-containing water. SOLUTION: The compound reverse osmosis membrane is employed in treating detergent-containing water. In the membrane, a cross-linked polyamide separation-functional layer is formed on a porous supporting membrane. The cross-linked polyamide contains guanidines as polyfunctional amines, and the guanidines are chemically bonded in the cross-linked polyamide functional layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
