PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus where a time for inspection can be shortened by detecting a contrast agent first pass for each inspection in a perfusion imaging method using a contrast agent. SOLUTION: In the case of carrying out perfusion imaging of repeatedly imaging a prescribed section of a patient to whom the contrast agent is given, at prescribed time intervals, a signal processing means obtains reaching finish time of the first circulation (first pass) of the contrast agent by computing, and informs an operator of reaching the finish time of the first circulation. Thus, the operator can finish the inspection in the shortest time since he/she can get to know the finish time of the first circulation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
