PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a liquid crystal display by which a sealant including a spacer can be easily formed and, at the same time, a liquid crystal display can be assembled fittingly in a short period of time without damaging a driving part. SOLUTION: The thin film transistor array panel is provided with: a substrate having a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area; a plurality of color filters formed in the display area of the substrate; and a first spacer formed in the peripheral area, wherein the first spacer is formed by using material which is also used for at least one of the color filters.
