PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box type pallet designed to reduce storage space when it is empty. SOLUTION: The box type pallet 11 having an opening O at the top and conveyable by a forklift has a bottom plate 11C smaller than the opening O, and overhangs provided for the bottom plate 11C so as to be freely extended and shortened. By extending the overhangs when stacking a plurality of box type pallets 11, the overhangs are placed on the edges OP of the opening O of the lower box type pallet 11 such that the bottom plate 11C is disposed near the opening O of the lower box type pallet 11.
