The invention concerns a game board in particular for use with pieces comprising a plate (2) and a peripheral frame (3) enclosing said plate and having a projecting edge (4) whereof the inner side (5) delimits on the plate a substantially rectangular area having a longitudinal axis of symmetry (6) and a transverse axis of symmetry (7), said frame comprising opposite longitudinal sides (8, 9) and opposite transverse sides (10, 11). Said board further comprises pairs (12, 13) of projecting means (14-15, 16-17) on the plate, respectively adjacent said transverse sides (10, 11), the projecting means (14-15, 16-17) of said pairs of projecting means being transversely spaced apart and symmetrical relative to said longitudinal axis (6) and said transverse axis (7), such that, on the plate, they mutually define open central spaces (18, 19) longitudinally facing each other and they define with said longitudinal sides (8, 9) open lateral spaces (20-21, 22-23) longitudinally facing one another respectively. |
