PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric switch for easily and accurately recognizing a value related to the processing of a photoreception signal while miniaturizing its size. SOLUTION: The front surface 14 of a casing 10 has a light projecting/receiving part 20 projecting light to a detection area and also receiving feedback light from the detection area. The rear surface 13 of the casing 10 has a display part 30 and two push type adjusting switches 50. In the casing 10, circuit boards 101, 102 are disposed on the rear side of a circuit board 100, and the circuit boards 101, 102 are attached perpendicular to the circuit board 100. A light-projecting lens 21 and a light-receiving lens 23 are engaged with outside opening ends of holes 28A, 28B of an element holder 27 to be held down by a lens cover 25.
