PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate usable to wide application without the limitation of using environments, and also satisfactorily formed, and in which inconvenience such as the reduction of luminance is suppressed, and to provide a surface light source body provided therewith. SOLUTION: The light guide plate is composed of a resin composition obtained by blending an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A) with a fluidity improvement agent (B). The fluidity improvement agent (B) is a polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture composed of an aromatic vinyl monomer (b1) of 0.5 to 99.5 mass%, a monomer (b2) expressed by general formula (1) of 0.5 to 99.5 mass%, and the other monomer (b3) of 0 to 40 mass%; wherein, the total of the monomers (b1) to (b3) is 100 mass%.
