PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull-in device for a sliding door which can be normally operated by enabling an easy restoration of a state allowing engagement of a catch member with an operation member without disassembly etc. when a pull-in member is pulled inside without engaging the catch member with the operation member. SOLUTION: The pull-in device for a sliding door comprises a device body, the operation member 70 and a return member 72. The device body comprises a guide rail part 1, a pull-in member 31, an urging member for pulling in the sliding door, a damper, and the catch member 50. The return member 72 butts against the catch member 50 and falls to the operation member 70 side when a sash V is closed until the operation member 70 butts against the catch member 50, in the case where the pull-in member 31 is pulled inside without engaging the catch member 50 with the operation member 70, then restores its posture by the urging member 75 and is engaged with the catch member 50, and returns the catch member 50 to an initial state.
