PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the biting-in property by continuously supplying a low viscosity resin material stably into the screw of an extruder by suppressing a marked back flow with the resin material and also giving a good ejection stability in its melt-spinning. SOLUTION: This melt-spinning device having a single shaft screw type extruder is provided with that the screw of the extruder satisfies the following (A) and (B) simultaneously, and the method for the same is also provided. (A) The relationship of a weighing part screw flight width (Wm) with a screw outer diameter (D): 2/15D≤Wm<3/5D, (B) The ratio (L<SB>Rm</SB>) of a whole screw effective length (L) to a weighing part effective length (Lm): 0.12≤L<SB>Rm</SB>≤0.68.
