PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook of a shape realizing miniaturization of the hook for engaging a fork of a fork lift with an finger board and having durability. SOLUTION: The hook is auxiliarily provided on a back surface 5c of a vertical part of the L-shaped fork 5 and engages the fork 5 by inserting a receiving part of the hook spaced from the back surface 5c of the vertical part and having a parallel surface 13e or an inclination surface 13g to the finger board. The shape of the hook has a taper part 15 in which depth of the parallel surface 13e or the inclination surface 13g of the receiving part is gradually reduced from an end 13h in the crosswise direction toward the inside.
