PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire, improving run-flat durability and steering performance in run-flat traveling without impairing riding comfort in normal internal pressure traveling. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire includes: a carcass composed of at least one ply extended like a toroid to each of a pair of bead parts 11 where a bead core 1 is buried, a pair of side wall parts 12 and a tread part 13, both end parts of which are wound round the periphery of the bead core 1 from the inside in the width direction of the tire toward the outside; at least one belt 3 disposed between a crown part of the carcass 2 and the tread part 13; and a reinforcing rubber 14 provided at least the inner surface side of the side wall part 12 and having a substantially crescent-like sectional shape. A fiber reinforced layer 7 is disposed to cover the surface of a cushion rubber 6 in a position opposite to a critical point 10 with the cushion rubber 6 interposed between them extending from the bead part 11 to the side wall part 12.
