PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowerpot intended for solving such problems that in a flower pot having a double cup structure through setting an inner pot in an outer pot and a punched drainage hole on the drum of the outer pot, the opening of the outer pot is tightly closed with an outer flange set in the inner pot, so air between the outer and inner pots stagnates. SOLUTION: This flowerpot 1 is such that an inner pot 3 is set in an outer pot 3, soil is put in the inner pot 3 to set a plant, and water is to be stored in the outer pot 2. The outer pot 2 has an opening end surface made of ceramics in a condition of having remaining distortion after baking, and on the other hand, the inner pot 3 is wholly made of ceramics, and has on an opening end surface an outer flange 7 having an outline almost the same as that of the outside of the opening part of the outer pot 2. The inner pot is hung and supported through placing the outer flange 7 on the opening end surface of the outer pot 2 to keep space S between the inside of the outer pot 2, and formed through punching a through hole 11 on a height corresponding to the middle of the drum of the inner pot 3, in the drum of the outer pot 2, and punching a plurality of penetrating holes 10 on positions in the inner pot 3, above and below the through hole 11 of the outer pot 2.
