The invention relates to a coffee machine, in particular, an espresso or coffee pad machine, comprising a brewing chamber (24), with at least one outlet opening (40), through which coffee flows into a pouring vessel (30), which has at least one outlet tube (32) for the removal of coffee. According to the invention, such a coffee machine may be improved such that the prepared coffee flows evenly into the catching container provided by the user, whereby the pouring vessel (30) has a base with a ribbed structure. Said embodiment permits an even flow of coffee. Surprisingly the pore size of the foam is also affected.
