The saddle platform for servicing an aircraft fuselage has a working platform (2a-f) mounted on a saddle frame (1)itself held by straps (3) extending circumferentially of the fuselage. The straps can be made of aluminium and there can be two, four, six or eight extending circumferentially and spaced along the fuselage. The straps can be upholstered with rubber or foam.
