A cabinet area is defined between two parallel and opposing vertical walls (1). Movable shelves (2) have tray surfaces (3) connected by fittings (4) to the walls such that the shelves are movable between a storage position in which the tray surfaces are within the cabinet area and a drawn position in which the tray surfaces are at least partly outside the cabinet area. The tray surfaces are positioned lower in the drawn position than when in the storage position.
