PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editor corresponding to software protection for preventing any source code from being illegally copied or used at the time of copying a source code to another program. SOLUTION: The editor corresponding to software protection is provided with a first deciding means S4 for deciding whether or not any application identification for protection is present in the header part of a program file at the origin of copy and copy means S7 and S5 for copying the application identification information of the header part of the program file at the origin of copy in copying a source code to the destination of copy when it is decided that the application identification information for protection is present in the header part of the program file of the origin of copy by the deciding means.
