PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image storage device capable of preventing radio transmission of image data from being applied to inadequate opposite equipment when radio communication is established with the inadequate opposite equipment. SOLUTION: An information reception section 151 receives type information transmitted from opposite equipment by means of an infrared ray, a transmission propriety discrimination section 152 discriminates whether or not a type represented by the type information is described in a type list of equipment for which the transmission of image data obtained by an image input device 110 is permitted, an image conversion section 155 receiving a result of the discrimination converts the image data into image data with a format in response to the type, and an image transmission section 153 transmits the image data to the opposite equipment for transmitting the type information to the information reception section 151 by means of an infrared ray.
