PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote safety monitoring method for monitoring a remote monitored person, and for sending warning having no leakage and noise while respecting the privacy of the monitored person. SOLUTION: A monitoring terminal 2 in a monitored person's house is provided with sensors 30 to always detect the passage of the monitored person. The detected results are stored in a remote safety monitoring server 4 as detection history. A monitor terminal 6 reads out the detection history in a prescribed time band stored in the remote safety monitoring server 4 and generates monitoring data. On the other hand, the monitor terminal 6 compares the monitoring data with comparing data set in advance in each prepared time band to find out a comparing difference and judges whether abnormality exists or not on the basis of a preset comparing difference.
