PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of extracting stress corrosion crack suppressing effect by hydrazine as much as possible by lowering the concentration of nitric acid and nitrous acid produced when a nitrogen compound such as ammonia produced by reaction of hydrazine with oxygen and hydrogen peroxide is further oxidized with reactor water. SOLUTION: In a boiling water reactor into which at least one reducing agent is injected, a reducing agent injection unit having one of the function of transmitting a signal indicating the state of injecting the reducing agent and the function of receiving a signal transmitted by another reducing agent injection unit and indicating the state of injecting the reducing agent or both of the functions is employed as a device for injecting the reducing agent.
