PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively prevent infiltration of higher fatty acid contained in secretions of hand grease, sweat, or the like, and oil contained in cosmetics such as hand cream, from an end face of a desk mat. SOLUTION: The desk mat has a base material layer 10 formed of olefinic resin, and protective film layers 21, 22 laminated on front and rear faces of the base material layer 10. The edge part of the protective film layer 21 on the front face side is extended to cover the edge face of the base material layer 10 and welded to the edge part of the protective film layer 22 on the rear face side.
