The trailer which has a ramp and platform on a mobile carriage with tow bar is a rectangular body (3) with four hinged side walls (5,6,7,8) where the front and two side walls can pivot from a vertical transport position into a horizontal useful position whilst the rear wall pivots down from the vertical transport position to form the ramp. The front and two side walls have fold up corner segments (10) whereby in the horizontal useful position a U-shaped work surface can be formed round the basic rectangular body. The trailer has a self-sufficient operation with emergency power supply etc.
