PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality contact having sufficient abrasion resistance characteristics and high lubricity. SOLUTION: In this contact taking the form of a prescribed shape and having a contact part connected with a counterpart electric contact member, a plurality of minute recesses are formed on the surface of either one portion including the contact part or the whole contact, and a lubricating material by either one of a lubricant having fluidity, a solid lubricative particulate, or a lubricant containing the solid lubricative particulate is retained in a plurality of the recesses. The diameters of a plurality of the recess are in the range of 10-100μm, and the particle diameter of the solid lubricative particulate is not more than 1μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
